Our Experience

FEP assisted Luminant with the development of cost rationalization plans. FEP’s analyses supported and enhanced Luminant’s cost reductions, deferrals of capital expenditures, and decisions to move some of the company’s coal plants to seasonal operations.
FEP developed and led a corporate-wide operational and cost improvement effort for PREPA that resulted in the development of a multi-year business plan, which significantly reduced projected costs and improved organizational efficiency. The effort included inspections and assessments of all generation on the island and development of strategies to provide reliable generation in the short-term as well as long-term solutions.
FEP conducted inspections at over 300 generating units to assess the weatherization efforts performed at generating assets.
